KONY 2012 – Let’s make him famous

First on my list is KONY 2012. As some of you have probably seen the KONY 2012 film and are familiar with the campaign I have made some Tshirts and included an info notecard to help spread the word on the grid. YOU CAN AND SHOULD PASS THIS PACKAGE 🙂 since I made the T-Shirts & info-card transferable so that if anyone felt inclined to share them they could do so easily.

KONY 2012 is a campaign that is helping bring an international rebel leader to justice. His name is Joseph Kony, and he has been abducting children, forcing the boys to kill, turning the girls into sex-slaves, and killing children if they don’t follow his orders. Kony’s LRA has kidnapped an estimated 20,000 children for use as fighters or sex slaves. As part of their initiation, these children are often required to kill their own parents, so they’ll have no homes to return to. Once kidnapped, children are used as pack mules, carrying LRA supplies until they are too weak to walk, at which time they’re killed or simply left to die. Troublesome captives have their noses, lips, and/or ears cut off, and are then made to eat their own flesh.

I urge you all to take 30 minutes to watch it if you haven’t. We’ve not got much of a bark individually but united, internationally, we can keep hope alive. We CAN end this.
